The present invention relates to a compact excavator that can be mounted on various carriers or be used as a self contained excavator. The present invention also describes various quick connect systems permitting the effective installation of this excavator in the back of Utility Vehicles (UTV) or other carrier equipped with a cargo box, on front end loaders, farm tractors, and motorized dump box. This excavator can also be towed and used in a trailer configuration, or be used as a self contained excavator.
