An adapter (10) for converting a core roll product dispenser into a dispenser for a coreless roll product having a pair of depressions defined in the ends of the coreless roll. The adapter includes: (1) a housing (12) defining a central cavity (14) and an opening (16) at an end (18) of the central cavity (14); (2) a retractable plunger (20) having a distal end (22), a central shaft (24), and a base (26), the retractable plunger (20) being configured so the base (26) and a first portion of the central shaft (24) is retained in the housing (12) and the distal end (22) and a second portion of the central shaft (24) extends through the opening (16) at an end (18) of the central cavity (14) so the plunger (20) is adapted to penetrate a depression defined at an end of a coreless roll product; (3) resilient means (28) in communication with the plunger (20), the resilient means (28) being configured to apply a force against the plunger (20) so the plunger (20) is adapted to retract into the central cavity (14) when a greater opposing force is applied against its distal end during loading and extend when the greater opposing force is removed; and (4) attachment mean (30) for securing the adapter (10) to a core roll product dispenser. Also disclosed is a dispenser for a coreless roll product having a pair of depressions defined in the ends of the coreless roll.
L'invention porte sur un adaptateur (10) permettant de transformer un distributeur de produit en forme de rouleau à âme pleine en distributeur de produit en forme de rouleau à âme creuse aux extrémités duquel sont formés une paire de creux. L'adaptateur comprend: 1) un corps (12) formant une cavité centrale (14) et une ouverture (16) située à une extrémité (18) de la cavité centrale (14); 2) un plongeur (20) rétractable comportant une extrémité distale (22), une tige centrale (24) et une base (26), ce plongeur étant conçu de sorte que la base (26) et une première partie de la tige centrale (24) soient maintenues dans le corps (12) et que l'extrémité distale (22) et une seconde partie de la tige centrale (24) passent dans l'ouverture (16) au niveau d'une extrémité (18) de la cavité centrale (14) de sorte que le plongeur puisse s'introduire dans un creux formé à une extrémité du produit en forme de rouleau à âme creuse; 3) un élément résilient (28) communiquant avec le plongeur (20), cet élément (28) étant conçu pour appliquer une force contre le plongeur (20), ce dernier se rétractant alors dans la cavité centrale (14) lorsqu'une force opposée supérieure est appliquée contre son extrémité distale au cours du chargement, et s'étendant lorsque la force opposée supérieure disparaît; et 4) un dispositif de fixation (30) fixant l'adaptateur (10) à un distributeur de produit en forme de rouleau à âme pleine. L'invention porte également sur un distributeur de produit en forme de rouleau à âme creuse aux extrémités duquel est formée une paire de creux.
