An adapter is disclosed, which can be connected to the probe tube (2) of a ready installed PEG probe, cut off above the abdominal wall of the patient. Said adapter comprises a retaining member (5), supported by the abdominal wall, means (7) for fixing the proximal end of the PEG probe and means (8) for connecting a delivery tube. Said retaining member (5) is embodied as a separate piece, comprising an opening for the passage of the PEG probe, whilst the means (7, 8) for fixing the PEG probe and for connection of the delivery tube form an insert piece (6), which may be inserted in the retaining member with a tight fit. Said adapter is characterised in being simple to manipulate and of a construction with a limited height.

L'invention concerne un adaptateur pouvant être relié à un tube (2) de sonde d'une sonde de gastrotomie endoscopique percutanée (PEG) déjà installée, lequel tube est sectionné au-dessus de la paroi abdominale du patient. Cet adaptateur comporte un élément de retenue (5) appuyé contre la paroi abdominale, un moyen (7) de fixation de l'extrémité proximale de la sonde PEG et un moyen (8) de raccordement d'un tube d'écoulement. Cet élément de retenue (5) est conçu en tant que pièce séparée, présentant une ouverture (10) pour le passage de la sonde PEG, tandis que les moyens (7, 8) de fixation de la sonde PEG et de raccordement d'un tube d'écoulement forment une pièce rapportée (6) qui peut être insérée de manière adaptée dans l'élément de retenue. Ledit adaptateur se caractérise par sa manipulation simple et son faible encombrement en hauteur.
