ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to an adapter for a drop unit with a chamber, application hose, clip and probe a.o. for enternal nutrition and intended substantially for disposal packages. The invention is characterized in that it comprises a main member intended to sealingly be attached in the opening of the package. The main member is provided with a first through hole for emptying the contents of the package, a second through hole for an aeration tube extending to the bottom of the package, and a third through hole for a transparent tube extending outside the package at least to the level of the package bottom. The main member further is provided with a hold for the chamber. The adapter further comprises a means located at the bottom of the package for holding the transparent tube and for suspending the package in upside down position.
