ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A seal for use with a conventional conical nose conduit fitting interposed between the conduit fitting parts wherein the seal includes a conical metal portion compressed between the coupling parts establishing metal-to-metal engagement, and the seal also includes an inner end to which an elastomer is bonded, the elastomer being compressed between the fitting surfaces to additionally provide elastomeric sealing.
