The invention relates to a method of continually adding additives to tobacco material particles, in which the additives are added by a feeder to the tobacco material in passing through a tube for conveyance of tobacco materials, a film flow of the additive, into which the tobacco material particles immerse, being created clinging to at least a part of the tube wall. The invention relates furthermore to an apparatus for implementing the method.
