ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE - According to certain of its aspects this invention is a process for the preparation of organometals and organometalloids wherein an elemental hydride is reacted with an olefinic compound, at a temperature at which said hydride is stable, in the presence of ionizing radiation. The products are useful as additives for plastics.
