ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A phosphonitrilic fluoroelastomer composition is disclosed which possesses enhanced processibility, low temperature flexibility and slightly increased volume swell in petroleum based hydraulic fluids consisting essentially of: (1) a fluoroelastomer consisting of alternating P and N atoms and the substituents attached to the P atoms are principally fluoroalkoxy groups and include at least some unsaturated groups; and (2) between about 1 and 20 parts of silicone gum rubber per 100 parts of fluoroelastomer, blended therewith. These compositions have improved properties for the manufacture of for example hoses and o-ring seals particularly for low temperature environments. .
