Television images are presented by projecting light on a screen or sensitive film, while for photographs ambient light is used. The invention concerns a method for adding another additional light dimension so as to reduce the medium polarising effect. It consists in at least one electromagnetic spectrum light diffusing in a zone perpendicular to the image light emission, tangential to the image. In a non-exclusive example an apparatus is used showing an observer perceiving a photograph on paper. The usual ambient light is normally reflected by the photograph, whereto is added a light on the periphery and in the photograph medium. The lamp is masked from the observer. Said light diffuses into the photograph material and slightly behind by grazing, brushing the rear surface of the paper. The method also consists in using for television screens the direct light partially diffracted into a radial perpendicular spectrum, by a specific structure of the screen. The method and apparatus are useful in the fields of photography and audio-visual providing depth to the image, close to the original.

Les présentations d'images de télévision sont obtenues par projection lumineuse sur écran ou film sensible, pour les photos, il est utilisé la lumière ambiante. Le présent procédé se propose d'ajouter une autre dimension lumineuse en plus, afin de diminuer l'effet polarisant du support. Ce procédé est au moins une lumière, spectre électromagnétique qui diffuse dans une zone perpendiculaire à l'émission lumineuse de l'image, tangente à l'image. Un appareil est réalisé, exemple non limitatif, qui montre un observateur qui perçoit une photo sur papier. L'éclairage habituel ambiant est reflété normalement par la photo, auquel s'ajoute une lumière sur le pourtour et dans le support photo. La lampe est cachée de l'observateur. Cette lumière diffuse dans la matière de la photo et un peu en arrière par effleurage, rasant la surface arrière du papier. Le procédé utilise également pour des écrans de télévision, la lumière directe qui est diffractée partiellement en un spectre perpendiculaire radial, par une structure particulière de l'écran. Procédé et appareil utilisable dans le domaine de la photo et de l'audiovisuel donnant une profondeur à l'image, proche de l'origine.
