Additive concentrates comprising from at least one organic diluent selected from the group consisting of naphthenic oils and synthetic oils and from about 95% to about 50% by weight of an ester as defined herein are useful to prepare lubricating oils having good viscosity index and which also have exceptional low temperaturecharacteristics.
