The invention provides an additive for livestock feed and constitutions of a feed composition for livestock to improve the feed conversion ratio and the body weight gain efficiency by increasing the feed intake of livestock. The feed intake of livestock can be increased by an additive for livestock feed, which comprises monosodium L- glutamate and L-tryptophan, wherein a mass ratio of free monosodium L-glutamate (provided that all converted into monosodium L-glutamate monohydrate) and free L-tryptophan (GLU/TRP ratio) is from 0.5 to 30.
L'invention porte sur un additif d'aliments pour bétail et sur la fabrication d'une composition d'aliments pour bétail pour augmenter la prise alimentaire du bétail et améliorer l'indice de consommation et l'efficacité alimentaire. La prise alimentaire du bétail est augmentée au moyen d'un additif alimentaire pour bétail caractérisé en ce qu'il contient de l'acide L glutamique et/ou du L glutamate de sodium, et du L tryptophane. L'additif alimentaire pour bétail est en outre caractérisé en ce que le rapport massique entre le L glutamate de sodium libre (converti intégralement en monohydrate de L glutamate de sodium pour le calcul) et le L tryptophane libre (rapport GLU/TRP) se situe entre 0,5 et 30.
