The use of oligoglycerol fatty acid esters, prepared from (a) an acid component chosen from (a1) fatty acids of the general formula (I) R-COOH (I) in which R represents a saturated or unsaturated, branched or linear alkyl or alkenyl radical having 7 to 21 C atoms, and/or (a2) dicarboxylic acids and/or (a3) dimer fatty acids and/or (a4) oligomer fatty acids and/or (a5) hydroxy fatty acids with (b) a polyol component which is chosen from oligoglycerols or alkoxylates of oligoglycerols, as an additive in water-based drilling mud compositions for improving the lubricating action of these mud systems, is described.

L'invention décrit l'utilisation d'esters d'acide gras et d'oligoglycérine, préparés à partir de (a) un composant acide sélectionné parmi (a1) les acides gras de formule générale (I) R-COOH (I) dans laquelle R représente un groupe alkyle ou alcényle saturé ou insaturé, ramifié ou linéaire et comptant de 7 à 21 atomes de C et/ou (a2) des acides dicarboxyliques et/ou (a3) des acides gras dimérisés et/ou (a4) des acides gras oligomérisés et/ou (a5) des acides gras hydroxylés et (b) un composant polyol sélectionné parmi les oligoglycérines ou des alkoxylates d'oligoglycérines, comme additifs dans des agents de lavage de forages à base d'eau, en vue d'améliorer l'effet de lubrification de ces systèmes de lavage.
