The invention relates to viral formulations and related pharmaceutical products for use in gene therapy and/or vaccine applications. Especially preferred viral formulations disclosed herein are liquid adenovirus formulations, which show improved stability when stored in about the 2-8~C range while also being compatible with parenteral administration. These formulations comprise a buffer, a sugar, a salt, a divalent cation, a non- ionic detergent, as well as a free radical scavenger and/or a chelating agent to inhibit free radical oxidation.

L'invention concerne des formulations virales et des produits pharmaceutiques apparentés utilisables dans des applications de thérapie génique ou de vaccination. Les formulations virales préférées selon l'invention sont des formulations d'adénovirus liquides qui présentent une stabilité améliorée lorsqu'elles sont stockées dans la plage allant d'environ 2 à 8 ·C, tout en étant compatibles avec une administration parentérale. Ces formulations comprennent un tampon, un glucide, un sel, un cation bivalent, un détergent non ionique, ainsi qu'un phagocyte de radical libre ou un agent chélatant pour inhiber l'oxydation radicalaire.
