The present invention relates to the use of Adenylyl Cyclase-Associated Protein (CAP1) as a target for immuno-modulation. More specifically, the invention relates to the use of compounds that interact and bind CAP1, specifically, anti-CAP1 antibodies, and/or to CAP1 molecule or any fragments thereof, for the treatment of immune-related disorders by modulation of the Th1/Th2 balance. The invention further provides screening method for immuno- modulatory compounds that interact with CAP1.
La présente invention concerne l'utilisation de la protéine associée à l'adénylyle cyclase ou "CAP1" (Adenylyl Cyclase-Associated Protein) en tant que cible pour l'immunomodulation. L'invention concerne plus particulièrement, d'une part l'utilisation de composés qui interagissent avec CAP1 et s'y lient, en particulier des anticorps anti-CAP1, et/ou d'autre part la molécule CAP1 ou n'importe lesquels de ses fragments, pour le traitement de troubles se rapportant à l'immunité, par modulation de l'équilibre entre Th1 et Th2. L'invention concerne également un procédé de recherche systématique de composés immunomodulateurs qui interagissent avec CAP1.
