ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Adhesion promoter for plastisols of polymers and/or copolymers of PVC (polyvinyl chloride). These adhesion promoters are polyamino amide resins obtained by conden- sation or amidification of (a) polycarboxylic acids obtained from the polymerization of unsaturated fatty acids (polymeric fatty acids) preferably having at least 50% trimer by weight and more specifically having the composition 0-2% monomeric fatty acids, 10-50% dimeric fatty acids and 50-90% trimeric fatty acids with (b) an excess of a heterocyclic amine of the general formula: Image where R is H or an alkylamine group, -R'NH2 where R' is a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon chain.
