An adhesion system for a reinforcement material and rubbers or elastomers which combines the adhesion of resorcinol-formaldehyde-latex while overcoming the environmental, safety and stability problems thereof comprises an isocyanate compound and a polyunsaturated polymer with isocyanate-reactive groups wherein the molar ratio of isocyanate groups to isocyanate reactive groups is at least 2.5:1.
