An adhesive for a vehicular glass is disclosed which comprises urethane as a base material added with 2% to 8% by weight of a thermoplastic resin. The thermoplastic resin may be a polyester-based resin. The adhesive is heated to a temperature of 60°C - 80°C and then applied to a peripheral edge of a windshield. The windshield is sucked by a suction cup and pressed against a window frame of a vehicle body. Thereafter, the adhesive is cooled by blowing air having a temperature on the order of 20°C thereat. The adhesive is forcibly cooled down to 50°C or lower in a short time, thereby exhibiting temporary retention property.

L'invention porte sur un verre pour véhicules, renfermant de l'uréthane comme matière de base, avec 2 à 8 % en poids d'une résine thermoplastique. La résine thermoplastique peut être une résine à base de polyester. L'adhésif est chauffé à une température de 60-80 degrés C, puis appliqué sur la périphérie d'un pare-brise. Ce dernier est saisi par une ventouse et pressé contre le cadre du pare-brise d'une carrosserie de véhicule. L'adhésif est ensuite refroidi sous un souffle d'air à 20 degrés C. L'adhésif est ainsi refroidi jusqu'à 50 degrés C ou moins dans un laps de temps très court, ce qui permet d'appliquer ses propriétés temporaires de rétention.
