An article of manufacture for dispensing an adhesive material, such as a synthetic or semi-synthetic polymerizable or cross-linkable monomer material, includes a container body, and a porous applicator tip having a proximal end that is attached to the container body, and a distal end located away from the container body, wherein the adhesive material is located in the container body in a non-contacting relationship with the applicator tip prior to dispensing the material. A flow pattern of the adhesive material within or on the applicator tip is controlled by providing one or more cuts (84) in the applicator tip to alter flow properties of the adhesive material through the applicator tip.
L'invention concerne un article de fabrication destiné à l'application d'une matière adhésive, telle qu'une matière monomérique synthétique ou semi-synthétique et réticulable ou polymérisable. Cet article comprend un corps de récipient ainsi qu'un embout d'applicateur poreux doté d'une extrémité proximale fixée au corps de récipient et d'une extrémité distale éloignée dudit corps de récipient. Cette matière adhésive se trouve à l'intérieur du corps de récipient et n'entre pas en contact avec la pointe d'applicateur avant l'application de ladite matière. Un modèle d'écoulement de cette matière adhésive dans ou sur cet embout d'applicateur est établi grâce à une ou plusieurs incisions (84) ménagées sur l'embout d'applicateur de manière à modifier les propriétés d'écoulement de cette matière adhésive à travers ledit embout d'applicateur.
