H-61 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method is disclosed for bonding surfaces of isotactic butene-l polymers to themselves and other surfaces such as isotactic propylene polymer surfaces by use of a hot melt adhesive consisting essentially of 30-50 weight % of an atactic propylene polymer, 20 30 weight % of an iso- tactic butene-l polymer and 20-40 weight % of a tackifying resin such as rosin, a polyterpene resin, an aliphatic hydro- carbon resin, an aromatic hydrocarbon resin, or a rosin ester.
