ABSTRACT ADHESIVE CHANNEL CLOSURE FOR FLEXIBLE BAGS A closure suitable for use with a flexible bag, such as a sandwich bag where the closure comprises at least one female strip affixed to a first surface, the channel having a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive less than the depth or the interior height of the channel and located on an internal portion of the channel, and a second surface, whereby the seal is formed by contacting the pressure sensitive adhesive layer in the channel with a portion of the second surface.
