- 18 - ADHESIVE CLOSURE BAGS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME Abstract A bag for packaging food products comprises two superimposed thin, flexible plastic wall members joined together at the peripheral edges to form a bag with open mouth. A closure flap extends from the rear wall member and is adapted to be drawn over the bag mouth and into contact with the front wall members to close the bag. Adhesive is applied to the inside of the closure flap which latter is folded upon itself into a Z-fold so that the adhesive is substantially covered and protected from contact with air and exterior objects. A portion of the closure flap has a width less than the bag width.
