The present invention provides an adhesive composition containing a block copolymer, wherein the block copolymer has a polymer block (A) which is principally composed of a .alpha.-methyl styrene unit, and a polymer block (B) which is principally composed of a conjugated diene unit and of which at least part of carbon-carbon unsaturated double bonds may be hydrogenated, and having a good holding power at high temperatures.

La présente invention concerne un copolymère bloc comportant, d'une part au moins un bloc polymère (A) constitué essentiellement d'unités .alpha.-méthylstyrène, et d'autre part au moins un bloc polymère (B) constitué essentiellement d'unités diènes conjuguées, une partie au moins des liaisons doubles carbone-carbone peuvent avoir été hydrogénées. L'invention concerne également un adhésif autocollant ou une colle contenant l'un comme l'autre le copolymère bloc. Cet adhésif autocollant ou cette colle se distingue par une excellente résistance à l'arrachement (force de cohésion) à haute température.
