An adhesive composition comprising a thermosetting powder adhesive (50) adhered to a thermoplastic non-woven web adhesive (20) and processes for making the same. The thermosetting powder adhesive (50) is preferably a polyester, a polyester-polyurethane, an epoxy or an epoxy-polyester hybride. The thermoplastic non-woven web adhesive (20) is preferably an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, a polyester, a polyolefin, or a polyamide. The adhesive composition provides superior bonding between vinyl and/or cloth coverings and a variety of surfaces including metal, plastic, rubber and wood. There is also disclosed herein a composite article (190) that comprises an adhesive layer (170) made from the aforementioned adhesive composition and a substrate layer (200), and processes for making the same.
L'invention concerne une composition adhésive, comprenant un adhésif (50) thermodurcissable en poudre collé sur un adhésif (20) thermoplastique en bande non tissée, et des procédés de fabrication de cette composition. L'adhésif (50) thermodurcissable en poudre est, de préférence, un polyester, un polyuréthanne de polyester, une résine époxy ou un hybride de résine époxy-polyester.
