2077073 9114461 PCTABS00007 A medical adhesive product is provided having a conformable backing layer and on one surface thereof a layer of an adhesive comprising an acrylate polymer containing residues of an alkyl acrylate or methacrylate in which the alkyl portion contains from 12 to 20 carbon atoms. The adhesive has no significant tack at 25 ·C and sufficient tack at skin temperature to adhere to the skin and the product may have a moisture transmission rate of at least 350 gm m-2 24 hrs-1 at 37 ·C and at a relative humidity difference of from 100 to 10 %.
