The invention relates to adhesive compositions, preferably those for pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, comprising an adhesive polymer and, as tackifier or plasticizer, a zwitterionic compound. The zwitterionic compounds include those of formula I ( see fig. 1) wherein R1, R2 and R3 are each alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, aminoalkyl or aryl which may be interrupted in the alkyl chain by one or more oxygen atoms, R4 is H or OH, Z~ is CO2~ or SO3~, x and y are each 0, 1 or 2 provided that the sum of x and y is less than or equal to 4.

Cette invention porte sur des compositions adhésives, de préférence celles destinées aux rubans autoadhésifs, qui comportent un polymère adhésif et, comme agent poissant ou plastifiant, un composé zwittérionique, par exemple un composé de la formule I (voir la fig. 1) où R1, R2 et R3 sont, de façon indépendante, des groupes alkyle, hydroxyalkyle, aminoalkyle ou aryle dont la chaîne alkyle peut être interrompue par un ou plusieurs atomes d'oxygène, où R4 est un H ou un groupe OH, Z~ est un groupe CO2~ ou SO3~, x et y sont, de façon indépendante, égaux à 0, 1 ou à 2, alors que la somme de x et de y est inférieure ou égale à 4.
