An adhesive material is suitable as a bioadhesive and comprises an adhesive polymer and a plasticiser therefor, wherein the adhesive is cross-linked, characterised in that the adhesive comprises ketone groups cross-linked by a polyamine cross-linking agent. Such adhesives have good cohesion and low dermal irritation.
