A composition which comprises human mesenchymal stem cells which have the potential to differentiate into cells of more than one connective tissue type and a composition which induces cells from the mesenchymal stem cell population to differentiate into the adipogenic lineage, and a process for inducing such differentiation. The composition for inducing such differentiation comprises a glucocorticoid and a compound which stimulates cAMP production or inhibits cAMP degradation (such as a phosphodiesterase inhibitor). The process can further include isolating the adipocytes from remaining hMSCs.
La présente invention concerne une composition contenant des cellules souches mésenchymateuses humaines capables de se différencier en cellules de plus d'un type de tissu conjonctif, ainsi qu'une composition produisant des cellules provenant de la population de cellules souches mésenchymateuses pour se différencier en lignée adipogène. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de production d'une telle différenciation. La composition permettant de produire cette différenciation comprend un glucocorticoïde et un composé qui stimule la production d'AMPc ou empêche la dégradation de l'AMPc (par exemple un inhibiteur de phosphodiestérase).
