-17- "ADJUSTABLE BOWL SCRAPER" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Conventional bowl scrapers can be adjusted for height about the transverse axis, but not about a longi- tudinal axis. This limits the use thereof in side hill locations such as the forming of relatively wide drainage ditches and the like which often require shaping between the wheels of the bowl scraper at an angle different to the attitude thereof. The present device has the rear wheel axle shafts mounted in vertically situated slider blocks secured to the frame with heavy-duty piston and cy- linder assemblies extending vertically from the axle upon each side of the wheel and between the frame so that each wheel can be controlled individually thus raising and lower- ing each side of the frame individually and thereby con- trolling the tilt of the bucket around a longitudinal axis as well as the conventional control of the bucket position around a transverse axis. This gives complete flexibility of attitude of the bucket lip.
