An adjustable bridge for acoustic and electric guitars employing a plurality of saddle elements, of a circular cross-section housed within a plurality of cylindrical apertures within the bridge of the guitar. The central axis of rotation of each saddle element is offset from the perpendicular of the guitar string witnessed, allowing for the witness point of the respective string on its saddle, to be located at a point between its central axis of rotation and its periphery. When the saddle element is rotated clockwise the vibrational length of the string is decreased and when the saddle element is rotated anti-clockwise the vibrational length of the string is increased, allowing for intonation adjustment of the string to be carried out.
