A B S T R A C T An adjustable butt-hinge for a door or the like which has separate spacer means adapted to be disposed between projections carried by a pair of opposite leaves, one leaf secured to a door jamb or casing and one leaf to a door or the like, which projections are adapted to be interleaved to afford a hinging connection therebetween, the said spacer means being adapted to be adjustably positioned either between each set of adjacent projections or juxtapositioned to vertically raise or lower the hinged member.
