Abstract In a circular saw provided with adjustable saw blades, the saw blades (1) disposed on a splined arbor (2) and blade guides (8) disposed on a splined arbor (7) are connected through shifter bars (5, 9) slidably disposed in the splines (4) to common connecting plates (10), each of said connecting plates being provided with an adjusting mechanism (11) of its own, whereby each separately adjustable saw blade with its guide is attached to a separately adjustable connecting plate. The shifter bars are preferably round, and each saw blade is preferably attached to a connecting plate through three shifter bars spaced circumferentially 120° from each other.
