A clamp (10) for fixing bone pins or wires to an external frame (6) is disclosed. The clamp (10) has a central post member (11), a lower vise plate (31) and an upper vise plate (41) urged together on the post member (11) by a spring (60) for provisional placement, a nut (65) for positively locking the vise plates (31, 41) together on an external frame (6), and a pin clamp that can be moved along the axis of the central post member (11), and can receive and clamp either a bone pin or a bone wire. The pin or wire has unlimited angular movement in two planes. The clamp (10) is a captive unit that requires no intraoperative assembly.

La présente invention se rapporte à un clamp (10) permettant de fixer des broches ou des fils à os à un cadre externe (6). Ledit clamp (10) est muni d'un montant central (11); d'un plateau inférieur formant étau (31) et d'un plateau supérieur formant étau (41), pressés l'un contre l'autre sur le montant central (11) par un ressort (60) afin de permettre le placement provisoire; d'un écrou (65) permettant d'assujettir solidement ensemble les plateaux formant étau (31,41) sur le cadre externe (6); et d'un clamp de broche qui peut être déplacé le long de l'axe du montant central (11) et qui peut recevoir et clamper une broche à os ou un fil à os.
