Adjustable Collars and Rolls for Use in Rollforming Adjustable collars and rolls in a rollforming machine automatically adjust the position of the rolls to enable the same shape to be formed using different thicknesses of materials without having to change the rolls. The adjustable collars and rolls are installed on conventional rollforming stands, wherein the rolls are so designed such that adjustments made in the collars will position the rolls to form the material at the proper angles. Various adjusting systems are proposed, including spring loaded mechanisms, hydraulic cylinder-based mechanisms, keyway mounted collars, etc.
