In order to provide at such an adjustable device that the balancing device (54) generates balanced forces which correspond with the correct balancing requirement, the force-producing balancing device (54) cooperates with a compensating device (57) which compensates for differences between the balancing force that said force-producing balancing device (54) exerts on the exhaustion and/or supply conduit (4) and the force required for balancing said exhaustion and/or supply conduit in substantially all its positions.
