The present invention is a light steel framed metal joist including an adjustable connector fastened to the joist web that allows one to adjust the length and angle of the joist when attaching to floor and wall systems. The adjustment allows one to install end connectors onto the joists prior to installation while retaining flexibility of orientation during construction. The joist functions in both web bearing and bottom chord bearing configurations. A flat plate distributing member allows one to design a floor system without having to coordinate the positioning of the joist with wall studs. Angle or U shaped members can be fastened to the lower portion of the flat plate distribution member to support joists during construction. The invention further provides a seamless fire stopping system with consideration for acoustic dampening.
La présente invention porte sur une solive métallique encadrée d'acier léger comprenant une barre de raccord ajustable fixée à l'âme de solive qui permet d'ajuster la longueur et l'angle de la solive lorsqu'elle est attachée à des systèmes de plancher et de mur. L'ajustement permet d'installer des barres de raccord d'extrémité sur les solives avant l'installation tout en conservant la souplesse d'orientation lors de la construction. La solive fonctionne à la fois dans des configurations de support d'âme et de support de membrure inférieure. Un élément de distribution de plaque plate permet de concevoir un système de plancher sans avoir à coordonner le positionnement de la solive avec des poteaux dossature murale. Des éléments d'angle ou en forme de U peuvent être fixés sur la partie inférieure de l'élément de distribution de plaque plate pour supporter les solives lors de la construction. L'invention concerne en outre un système de pare-feu sans coupure en tenant compte de l'amortissement acoustique.
