A lighting apparatus having a pivotable light cartridge for positioning and directing the light output of a plurality of light sources, the light cartridge including an elongated base oriented along the longitudinal axis, a pivot at the opposed first and second ends of the light cartridge along the longitudinal axis, a plurality of light sources, and an longitudinal wall extending from the lateral edge of the base, the wall including a plurality of spaced-apart, radially-extending ribs, each having a distal edge. A rotatable worm gear having a helical thread is positioned in mechanical engagement with a portion of the distal edges of the plurality of ribs, so that rotation of the worm gear with a hand tool effects pivoting of the light cartridge along the longitudinal axis.
L'invention porte sur un appareil d'éclairage ayant une cartouche lumineuse pivotante pour positionner et diriger l'émission de lumière d'une pluralité de sources de lumière, la cartouche lumineuse comprenant une base allongée orientée le long de l'axe longitudinal, un pivot aux première et seconde extrémités opposées de la cartouche lumineuse le long de l'axe longitudinal, une pluralité de sources de lumière, et une paroi longitudinale s'étendant à partir du bord latéral de la base, la paroi comprenant une pluralité de nervures, s'étendant radialement, espacées, chacune ayant un bord distal. Une vis sans fin tournante ayant un filet hélicoïdal est placée en mise en prise mécanique avec une partie des bords distaux de la pluralité des nervures, de telle sorte qu'une rotation de la vis sans fin avec un outil manuel permet d'effectuer un pivotement de la cartouche lumineuse le long de l'axe longitudinal.
