A lumbar support (100) for a seat (10) which has a back (31) and a seat portion (21). The back of the seat contains the lumbar support and is adapted to recline with respect to the seat portion. The lumbar support includes two flexible lumbar supports (101 102), a fixed support member (121), a movable support member (122), a track (141, 142) for guiding the movable support member along a predetermined path of travel, and an assembly (160) for advancing the movable support member to adjust the curvature of the flexible lumbar supports.
