The unit has supports for the left and right side, along with several adjustable shelves. Each shelf has a left side panel opposing a right side panel, each having horizontal beams that interdigitate with beams of the opposing panel in channels present in a center panel. Vertical support segments snap together hand have vertically spaced receiving channels each tapered from back to front so as to receive and securely retain a tapered lug on one side of a shelf. The unit can be adjusted and customized according to the needs and space constraints of small retail vendors. It can be supplied by wholesalers to promote their product in retail stores.
