ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An oscillating wave-type sprinkler having a housing supporting an elongated spray tube which is driven by a water motor to oscillate from side-to-side about a generally horizontal axis. Throttling means are provided to cyclicly throttle the water flow to the spray tube to improve distribution and enhance the aesthetic appearance of the wave- shaped spray, and the spray tube is mounted to the housing by end fittings which eliminate thrust loading on the tube.
