An end support for supporting thin objects such as books, compact discs and the like, is provided which in a preferred embodiment is a vertical member, the vertical member having an inclined object supporting face which when the vertical member is slidably mounted on an object supporting platform or shelf or other planar member lies in a plane orthogonally bisecting a longitudinal axis along a vertical member receiving channel or dove-tail groove in the object supporting shelf.
