The invention relates to an adjustable safety distance spacer for bicycles, comprising two guide tubes (1, 2), a spacer rod (5) which moves inside the aforementioned guide tubes and which passes through perforated plugs (9), a refracting rotor comprising four curved blades (7) and a circumferential protector (6) which is disposed at one of the ends of the spacer rod and which is solidly connected to said rod by means of a safety clevis (8), and two supports (3, 4) which are used to fix the guide tubes (1, 2) to the bicycle frame (10). In this way, the cyclist can adjust the size of a safety signal strip quickly, comfortably and safely using just one hand when he/she is being overtaken by another vehicle, thereby preventing the cyclist from being hit owing to the incompetency or carelessness of the driver of the overtaking vehicle.

L'invention concerne un écarteur de danger réglable constitué de deux tubes guides (1, 2), d'une tige d'écartement (5) qui se déplace à l'intérieur desdits tubes guides et traverse les bouchons perforés (9), un rotor réfracteur composé de quatre ailettes incurvées (7) avec protecteur circulaire (6) situé à l'une des extrémités de la tige d'écartement et solidarisé à cette dernière par une fourche de sécurité (8) et deux supports (3, 4) qui assujettissent les tubes guides (1, 2) au cadre de la bicyclette (10). De cette manière, le cycliste peut, d'une seule main et de manière rapide, confortable et sûre, régler la dimension d'une bande de signalisation de sécurité, lorsqu'il est sur le point d'être dépassé par un autre véhicule, de façon à se prémunir contre une éventuelle maladresse ou négligence du conducteur du véhicule qui le dépasse.
