An adjustable socket for the removal of threaded fastners, that for some reason or the other will not respond to removal by standard methods, such as sockets and wrenches. Rotation of the outer barrel closes the adjustable socket. The socket teeth indent the external surfaces of the threaded fastner, supplying the possitive grip necess- ary to rotate and remove the threaded fastner. Adjustable Sockets are adaptable to use with standard square drive tools commonly used with regular sockets.
