The disclosure herein describes a light fixture for mounting into an opening made in a ceiling, wall or the like which comprises a pot received within the opening and having, in its inner wall, an opening into which is vertically adjustable a socket adapter. The latter includes a series of vertically spaced slots into which is received the projecting part of an arm pivotally mounted on the inner wall of the pot housing. This device allows a proper positioning of a light bulb within the pot.
