Le corps de colonne (6) est supporté par un coulisseau (48) de suspension à une crémaillère (26) entraînée par un pignon (29) porté par l'arbre de sortie d'un moto-réducteur (20). Une vis de pression (52) agissant sur le corps de colonne et sur le coulisseau assure un rattrapage du jeu. Le corps de colonne (6) d'un arbre de volant télescopique est relié (en 74) à une crémaillère entraînée par un pignon (80) porté par l'arbre de sortie d'un second moto-réducteur (84). Fig.2
