An adjustable stepladder is provided including a first set of rails, having a plurality of rungs coupled therebetween, and a second set of rails, also having a plurality of rungs disposed therebetween, slidably coupled with the first set of rails. A single support leg is hingedly coupled with one set of rails and may include a telescoping structure. The support leg may include a base having a plurality of feet wherein the base is integrally formed with a structural member of the support leg. In another embodiment, a removable base may be coupled to a structural member of the support leg such that differently configured bases may be attached to the support leg. The stepladder may, thus be adjustable in terms of height as well as in terms of a support base which will be in contact with the ground or other supporting surface when the ladder is in use.
L'invention concerne un escabeau réglable comprenant un premier ensemble de rails, présentant une pluralité d'échelons se trouvant entre les deux rails, et un second ensemble de rails, présentant également une pluralité d'échelons intermédiaires, couplés par glissement avec le premier ensemble de rails. Une jambe de support simple est couplée par articulation à un ensemble de rails et peut comporter une structure télescopique. La jambe de support peut également comporter une base présentant une pluralité de pieds, la base étant solidaire d'un élément structural de la jambe de support. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, on prévoit une base amovible qui peut être couplée à l'élément structural de la jambe de support de manière que les bases configurées de manière différente puissent être fixées sur la jambe de support. Ainsi, l'escabeau peut être réglé en termes de hauteur et de base de support qui va entrer en contact avec le sol ou une autre surface de support lorsque l'escabeau est utilisé.
