Adjustable strike plate assembly for a door jamb includes a first portion defining a rectangular opening for receiving a bolt and a second portion which is mounted behind the first portion and defines one edge of the rectangular opening. The second portion is adjustable in the adjustment direction at right angles to the side edge of the opening. There is a positive location between the second portion and the first portion by providing punched projections on the front face of the second portion which engage into elongate openings arranged in a row across the top and bottom of the first portion.
Cette invention concerne une gâche de serrure réglable qui se compose d'un premier élément définissant une ouverture rectangulaire où loger le pêne de la serrure et d'un second élément à monter derrière le premier élément pour modifier l'emplacement d'un des côtés de l'ouverture rectangulaire. Le deuxième élément est mobile dans la direction de réglage et perpendiculairement au côté de l'ouverture rectangulaire. Le maintien de la position du second élément par rapport au premier élément est assuré par des bossages ménagés par poinçonnage sur la face avant du second élément et destinés à s'imbriquer dans l'une d'une pluralité de fentes de section correspondante découpées dans les parties supérieure et inférieure du premier élément.
