A B S T R A C T A suck-back arrangement for a sanitary filling unit in which a threaded adjusting member adapted to be selective moved into and out of the path of the valve member of the outlet valve assembly is in threaded engagement only with a support member disposed externally of the outlet valve assembly while an unthreaded portion of the adjusting member extends into an unthreaded bore of the outlet valve housing so that no threaded parts are exposed to or come in contact with the product dispensed by the filling unit.
