ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION SYSTEMS FOR CEILINGS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus is disclosed for leveling suspended ceilings while attaching them to supporting structures. The apparatus has an upper body portion having a backplate, a top plate, and a side plate with each of the plates lying in a plane substantially perpendicular to the plane of the other two plates and each of the plates having means for connection to a supporting structure. A flange extends downwardly from one of the plates and includes means for engaging the supporting portion of a suspended ceiling.
