An adjustable sign support structure comprises a pivot and first and second elongated structural bars centrally and pivotally interconnected through that pivot. The first elongated structural bar defines two bar sections on opposite sides of the pivot. In the same manner, the second elongated structural bar defines two bar sections on the opposite sides of the pivot. An elongated sliding member is mounted longitudinally slidable on each bar section to adjust the length of the telescopic arm formed by this bar section and the corresponding sliding member. Screw members are used to lock the sliding members at a plurality of different positions along the respective bar sections. Therefore, the different arms of the support are adjustable both angularly and lengthwise to fit any type of signs, for example road signs.
