A valve assembly comprising a body member forming a channel having first and second ends, forming a seat surface within and at the first end of the channel about an orifice that faces in the direction of the second end, the channel forming a first coupler at the second end, a closure member forming a closing surface and an oppositely facing bearing surface, the closing surface configured to be received on the seat surface to close the orifice, the closing member received within the channel with the closing surface facing the seat surface, a spring member having first and second ends and received within the channel with the first end of the spring member contacting the bearing surface and an adjustment member having first and second ends and forming a second coupler at the first end of the adjustment member that cooperates with the first coupler to mechanically link the adjustment member within the channel in various relative juxtapositions, one of the adjustment member and the body member forming an outlet passage from the channel, whereby, the adjustment member position within the channel is adjustable to alter the degree of spring compression and also the pressure on the closure member.

Robinet constitué d'un corps formant un canal doté de deux extrémités qui forment un siège à l'intérieur et sur la première extrémité du canal, à proximité d'un orifice orienté en direction de la seconde extrémité, le canal formant un premier coupleur au niveau de la seconde extrémité; d'un organe de fermeture formant une surface de fermeture et une surface de support opposée, la surface de fermeture étant conçue pour s'appuyer sur le siège afin de fermer l'orifice, l'organe de fermeture s'insérant dans le canal lorsque la surface de fermeture fait face au siège; d'un ressort à deux extrémités inséré dans le canal de sorte que sa première extrémité est en contact avec la surface de support; ainsi que d'un organe de réglage comptant deux extrémités et formant un deuxième coupleur à la première extrémité de l'organe de réglage, lequel fonctionne avec le premier coupleur pour relier mécaniquement l'organe de réglage inséré dans le canal selon diverses positions relatives, l'un des organes d'assemblage et le corps formant un passage de sortie du canal, ce qui fait en sorte que la position de l'organe de réglage dans le canal se règle de façon à modifier la force de compression du ressort, et donc la pression exercée sur l'organe de fermeture.
